1989
Foundation
Since Dr. Muhammed Tahir ul Qadri founded Minhaj Welfare Foundation in 1989, we have grown to be a leading grassroot humanitarian aid organisation. Every year we are helping more and more people struck with hardship, all with your help.

1990s
Expansion of Educational Initiatives
MWF built over 640 educational institutions, including schools, colleges, and libraries, impacting more than 150,000 students and employing over 7,000 people.

Global Expansion
MWF was registered as a charity in the UK and globally expanded its operations to South Asia, the Middle East, Africa, Europe, and North America, addressing humanitarian needs.

2010-15
Major Humanitarian Efforts
MWF expanded its emergency relief operations to regions like Pakistan, the Middle East, and Africa, providing water, healthcare, and education. MWF became a key player in international disaster relief and development.

This period saw the establishment of large-scale projects like the Orphan Care Complex and “Water for All” initiatives that provided clean water facilities to marginalized communities.

COVID-19 Response and Infrastructure Development

COVID-19 Response and Infrastructure Development – MWF led pandemic relief efforts, especially in South Asia, and continued developing its large-scale infrastructure projects, including orphanages and healthcare clinics. The Orphan Care Complex and the “Our Girls, Our Future” initiative were launched, focusing on empowering women and supporting orphans.
